com This one is not all that surprising as the name tends to be a favorite for those mutual funds and ETF’s who are required to own a certain percentage of stocks no matter what. In that sense, the drug manufacturer is equivalent to cash for some. Note that the price closed well above the late February low.

The specialty chemicals company was downgraded in June by Bank of America BAC Securities from a “buy” to “neutral. ” There are a few other recognizable names that ended the day positive, but these 4 tend to give a good picture of the pockets of resiliency underneath the stock market’s big pull downward.
