m. on Tuesday and booked with eight charges, including possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of a stolen firearm. In police documents cited by TMZ , police valued the drugs at an estimated $7,000.

Breeland was pulled over at around 3:05pm on Monday in Charlotte, North Carolina , the documents said. Cops allegedly found that the 2020 Mercedes-Benz Breeland was driving had been reported stolen from Florida . Bashaud Breeland won Super Bowl LIV with the Chiefs in 2020 at Hard Rock Stadium Breeland spent his final NFL season with the Vikings in 2021, starting 13 games for the team Cops also found two AR-15S and two AK-47s in a search of the car, they said.

In the documents, cops also alleged that they discovered 5. 45 pounds of suspected marijuana and 62 grams of suspected mushrooms. According to the Mecklenburg County Jail website, Breeland spent just two-plus hours in jail, as he was released at 4:40am on Tuesday.

Breeland, a 2014 fourth-round pick, played eight years in the NFL after beginning his career with Washington. He would later spend a single season with the Packers before joining the Chiefs, where he won Super LIV in 2020 vs. the 49ers.

Breeland started 11 games for Kansas City that regular season and all three games in the postseason as the team won a championship. The defensive back spent his final NFL season with the Vikings in 2021.
