Toll Ambulance Rescue shared several gadgets carried in the team’s life jackets and survival kits and people were quick to share their guesses. Associate director helicopter operations at NSW Ambulance Chief Superintendent Cameron Edgar told FEMAIL many people may not have seen the items before but the organisation’s crew carry them at all times on the job.
The items in the safety kits included pen flares, sea marker dye, a j-knife and a survival blanket. ‘Can you name all the safety and survival equipment contained within our life jackets and survival kit?’ a Facebook post to Toll Ambulance Rescue asked. Toll Ambulance Rescue shared several gadgets carried in its life jackets and survival kits and people were quick to share their guesses as to what each item was ‘EpiPen, window/glass breaker, radio, seat belt cutter/knife fire blanket, water, food, mirror, torch? ‘All I know is the white medicine bottle-looking item on the top right hand side of the picture is sea marking dye. It’s very useful and fun in water features,’ another said.
