Cars, bikes, a whiskey bottle stuffed with cash, and a chainsaw stolen in series of raids

Cars and bikes have been stolen in a series of raids across Gloucestershire after Christmas. A number of have been reported across the county and have been issued as Community Alerts. Two cars – a Volvo Estate and a VW Golf – were taken from a property in Winstone in the While a funeral directors in Gloucester was also broken into and laptops stolen – as well as a donation box.

In other break-ins reported by , a whiskey bottle filled with around £1,000 in cash was stolen in Stroud. Other items taken in other raids include fireworks and a chainsaw. Below, you can see some of the crimes listed by police.

Between 5pm on Wednesday, December 27 and 8. 15am on Thursday, December 28. Incident 0076 of 28/12/23 refers.

Offenders entered a property in London Road, Stroud, via the kitchen window between 6am on Saturday, December 23 and 3. 10pm on Wednesday, December 12 and a large whiskey bottle full of loose change was stolen, more than £1,000 was believed to be in the bottle. Incident 0261 of 27/12/2023.

Offenders have entered a garage in College Lawn. Cheltenham, sometime between 7am on Saturday, December 23 and 5pm on December 26. An untidy search of the garage has been made, car washing items and fireworks have been stolen.

Incident 0127 of 28/12/23 refers Three bikes were stolen from locked shed in Naunton Park Road, Cheltenham, sometime overnight Thursday, December 28. Bike one was a Red/Black A2008 Synapse 105 Compact, Cannondale bike; bike two a women’s MX Comp Boardmans Hybrid bike Purple in colour; bike three a silver/blue Discovers 401 Dawes Hybrid bike Incident 0112 of 28/12/23 refers. Douro Road, Cheltenham Suspects have broken the locks to a shed between unknown time on Sunday, December 24 and 3.

30pm on Thursday, December 28. Stolen were an Old Gold Peugeot Racing Bike, with sentimental value; a white racing bike; a X750S E-Black Electric Bike , rear bike rack and single Pannier on it. Incident 0282 of 28/12/23 refers Offenders broken into locked garage in St.

Marys Close, Lower Swell and around 1:30am on Thursday, December 28 and have stolen an Orange Husqvarn chainsaw. Incident. 0114 of 28/12/23 refers.

Also in Lower Swell, there was an attempted break in of a garage. Pushbikes had alarms on them and this is believed to scared off the offenders. Incident 0160 of 28/12/23 refers.

There was a theft from a trailer on a driveway of property in Barnwood Avenue, Gloucester. Stolen was an Makita Air Blower (on December 21 at around 9am) and a Black Tool bag containing hand tools, spanners, screwdrivers and hammers (at 5am on Thursday, December 28) Both times the offender is believed to have made off on a pushbike. Incident 0090 of 28/12/23 refers.
