And now, they’re having one of the most significant sales I’ve ever seen for a catalogue of games, 90%+ off pretty much every IP and existing title they got with this deal. Given that most of those games are already not full price, that means for a few bucks, you can get some truly incredible titles.

Among the highlights here, we have: Guardians of the Galaxy for $3 Marvel’s Avengers for $2 Tomb Raider Definitive Edition for $2 Rise of the Tomb Raider for $1 Shadow of the Tomb Raider for $3 Deus Ex for Human Revolution for $1. 50 Deus Ex Mankind Divided for $2 And then you can go all the way back and get Thief and Legacy of Kain games for literal cents. This sale is occurring within the Square Enix store, which is a little weird considering the transfer to Embracer, but what I’m pretty sure is happening here is they are attempting to clear out all the physical stock of these old games that they have left at a steep, steep discount, and then start with a clean slate.

So you can end up with easily 200+ hours of games here for maybe $20 in total? You don’t see that very often, especially with franchises this big. As for what’s next here, there have been a lot of rumors swirling about what Embracer plans to do with these studios and IPs.

Here’s what we know: Crystal Dynamics is continuing to make Avengers content with PS Plus and Game Pass giving that game a new lease on life. Crystal Dynamics is working on a new Tomb Raider game in Unreal Engine 5. Crystal Dynamics is working on helping Microsoft with Perfect Dark.

Eidos is rumored to be thinking they could do Cyberpunk “right” with a new Deus Ex game. There are rumblings that Embracer may try to negotiate an extend Marvel contract to do more games besides Guardians and Avengers. But we’ll see what actually happens.

For now, the only really concrete project of all of those is the new Tomb Raider game, which is likely a few years away. But yeah, scoop these games up while this sale lasts. They’re all excellent, and worth your time.
