Share to Facebook Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin The finale to the Overwatch League season is here, with lots of rewards on offer just for watching. Blizzard Entertainment The Overwatch League season is drawing to a close, which means it’s time for Play-offs! The end-of-season affair got underway yesterday with the first round of matches. Games will take place every day this week, culminating with the Grand Finals on Friday.

Not only can you watch some of the best Overwatch 2 players in the world duke it out (get ready to see lots of Winston and Kiriko, if day one is anything to judge by), but you can earn some in-game rewards thanks to YouTube Drops. To do so, you’ll need to link your Battle. net and YouTube accounts.

Select the Battle. net option on the Connected Apps page of the YouTube settings and follow the directions. You can link your accounts when an Overwatch League broadcast is in progress by clicking or tapping the Rewards icon below the OWL YouTube stream.

You’ll see a “Connected” icon below the YouTube stream once you’re all set up. It’s worth noting that only personal YouTube accounts are eligible — not brand ones. You’ll earn rewards when you watch live broadcasts on the web on your computer, the YouTube mobile app, YouTube’s mobile website and via YouTube’s picture-in-picture player on your phone or tablet.

Any time you spend watching Overwatch League broadcasts on other websites where streams are embedded, or on the YouTube app on TVs, game consoles or other media devices, you won’t gain any progress toward any of the rewards. There are a couple of other places where you can earn rewards: the Overwatch League website and mobile app. There are a couple of advantages of taking this route.

First, you don’t need a YouTube or Google account. You’ll only need to log in with your Battle. net credentials to earn rewards.

Second, the app and the website’s homepage will feature the live broadcast front and center. You won’t need to go looking through the Overwatch League YouTube channel to find the correct video. Folks who are legal residents of certain countries won’t earn rewards from watching live Overwatch League matches on YouTube. And just what are those rewards, you may be wondering? You’ll earn OWL tokens, which you can use to buy Overwatch League team skins and themed Legendary skins that become available from time to time. These skins are more expensive than they were in Overwatch 1 , so this week is a good opportunity to earn a bunch of tokens and unlock the skins you want.

You’ll get five tokens for every hour of OWL Play-offs and Grand Finals matches that you watch. If you hit 30 hours of cumulative watch time, you’ll get an extra 100 tokens. You’ll get a few skins for each of the original game’s heroes after every three hours of watch time you accrue by November 3 (or the replay on November 4 — more on that in a second). You’ll also receive extra rewards, including sprays, player icons and the Lúcio Dance Party emote . Here’s a chart breaking down how that all works: Overwatch League playoffs perks chart Blizzard Entertainment If you spend enough time watching Grand Finals on Friday, you’ll get skins for the three latest heroes — Sojourn, Junker Queen and Kiriko — a swanky name card and a spray, as well as the regular five OWL tokens per hour.

Overwatch League Grand Finals perks chart Blizzard Entertainment For the sake of clarity, you can watch the matches and earn rewards on the Overwatch League YouTube channel , Overwatch League app and Overwatch League website . Only official live broadcasts are eligible. If you missed Sunday’s matches, it’s actually not too late to earn rewards for them.

You can watch an official replay stream, which starts at 9:30AM ET on Monday. There will be replays for all the other broadcasts, including Grand Finals. Matches start at 5:30 PM ET every day through Thursday, with four matches per day.

Replays will start at 9:30AM ET the following morning. As for Grand Finals, the event starts at 8PM ET on Friday, with two matches in store. The replay for that will start at 2PM ET on Saturday.

If you’re not sure what those times are in your own timezone, check the schedule on the Overwatch League website . All times are displayed in your local time. If any of this info isn’t completely clear to you, hit me up on Twitter .
