Credit: Aimee Nicolas Chrissy Teigen is getting into the baking mixes game, and you know there’s going to be banana bread. The bestselling author of Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat: A Cookbook , Cravings: Hungry for More and Cravings: All Together , Teigen is making it easier than ever to make and enjoy fresh-baked treats at home.

Part of the Cravings by Chrissy Teigen lifestyle brand, this first-ever line of baking mixes is launching with three products: Chrissy’s Ultimate Banana Bread Mix, Buttermilk Mochi Pancake and Waffle Mix, and Salted White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie Mix. All of the mixes are adapted from tried and tested recipes from Teigen herself, and only require one or two additional ingredients to make; no perfectly browned bananas needed. Cravings plans to launch even more baking mixes and other pantry staples like pasta and noodle sauces, condiments and snacks in the coming months.

The new baking mixes are available for pre-order on the Cravings website today and start shipping on October 25. They will also be available in retail stores next year. I had the opportunity to connect with Teigen to learn more about her new line of baking mixes.

I always wanted to share my favorite recipes with my online community, and give them all the tools and tricks they would need to feel confident when cooking them. And now, it’s even easier! I’m all about trying to help people make delicious food quickly and easily, without sacrificing a smidge of flavor. With these new mixes, you just need a few ingredients and a baking pan and you’re good to go.

The process of testing and the team we have, I cannot tell you how proud we are. These mixes really stand out from all the oldies on the shelves that we have been used to for so long. And this is just the beginning! We’re going to be expanding with new lines and products that continue to make delicious food easy to prepare.

Teigen: The banana bread was an obvious choice.

It’s inspired by the recipe in Cravings: Hungry for More , which is one of my absolute favorite recipes and people immediately loved it. Delicious banana bread shouldn’t be reliant on having perfectly browned bananas on hand! Who has time for that? I wanted to create a boxed mix that took out all that extra legwork. Pancakes are such a staple in our house.

We live by our pancake weekends! John and the kids wake up early every single Sunday morning and truly enjoy every aspect of whipping these up. We knew John was going to be a very tough cookie when it came to perfecting his recipe for a boxed mix but we beyond nailed it. We wanted to make them a little fancy and unique, different from your classic boxed pancakes.

I’ve always loved mochi, and I knew that the two would complement one another so well. As for the cookies, white chocolate macadamia nut is my absolute favorite cookie flavor, and I featured that recipe in the Cravings: All Together cookbook. The mix of salty and sweet is just so addicting.

Credit: Aimee Nicolas Demarest: What are some of your favorite ways to level up these baking mixes? Teigen: There are so many little hacks to level up these baking mixes, and I love to get creative! Finely chopped walnuts in the banana bread go a long way for adding some texture and nuttiness. These mochi pancakes are the perfect base for add-ins—blueberries, chocolate chips, coconut flakes—you name it, it works! I wanted to create these mixes so that they can work really well as-is, but I’m super curious to see what people come up with at home.
