Officers were called to Scotts Street in Annan , Dumfriesshire, at around 5. 10am on Wednesday May 17, following reports a vehicle had been abandoned. Images from the scene showed a black Honda Civic balanced around a metre off the ground on cylinder within the roundabout on the B721.

Police Scotland has since confirmed a 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
