Priced at Rs 3,499, they offer 80 hours playtime, quad microphones, and an ear-hook design with a detachable band for comfort. The open-ear design features ear hooks that rest on the ear canal. Audio quality is decent, with clear vocals but minimal bass.

Pairing is quick and easy. Call quality is good, and spatial awareness allows users to hear their surroundings. Sound leakage may be an issue in quiet environments.

Battery life is impressive, with fast charging capabilities. Most TWS earbuds today, including some affordable ones, come with Active Noise Cancellation technology paired with surrounding awareness features. However, due to their in-ear design, they often make things noise cancelling despite the feature being turned on.

To counter that, Noise has launched its Pure Pods , an open-ear earbuds specification designed for people who need earbuds for workouts or running and other outdoor activities. Listed at Rs 3,499 on Noise’s official website, the Pure Pods also comes loaded with features like 80 hours playtime, quad microphones and more. We have used these earbuds for a while and here’s what we think about it.

Design and comfort Pure Pods features a ear-hook design which looks similar to the most activity-centric earbuds out there. Noise has also bundled a detachable band called Pure Band that makes it more comfortable for users to wear and make the earbuds stick even during heavy workout sessions or running. The earbuds are made out of plastic and the band has a slightly softer material that makes it go easy on the neck area.

However, the key difference is there in the earbuds themselves. They feature an open-ear design with no tip or hook to fit in the ear. Actually, actually they rest on the ear with the help of ear hooks that’s part of the design and stay on the top of the ear canal.

Wearing them is a little tricky though. We had to figure out how to get it on for the first few times. However, things became easier once we got the hang of it.

Overall, Pure Pods are different in terms of design and are well suited for the purpose it is designed for. Audio quality, pairing and more Paring these earbuds was quick and our phone detected and paired with it in no time. All we had to do was turn on the earbuds and scan for the Bluetooth device in the settings.

That’s it. It was all ready for the action. As expected, there’s no noise cancellation of any sort, given the design and the purpose it serves.

Talking about the audio quality, it’s satisfactory at best. The bass is minimal, the loudness is also somewhat okay. Vocals, however, are clear and we faced no issues while listening to music or a podcast while running outdoors.

Considering the design, the Pure Pods does its job well. We used it for a couple of days while running outdoors and even on the treadmill in the gym. We are pretty much satisfied with what it offers in terms of audio quality, especially with the kind of design it has.

The call quality is good and surprisingly it’s pretty loud and clear. Our callers also mentioned that they can hear us loud and clear without much background noise. But let’s address the biggest feature here.

The spatial awareness. Thanks to its design, we can hear everything even with sound playing or while taking a call. That said, there is some sound leak here and people in the surrounding area could hear what’s playing in the earbuds.

But, if you are using it outdoors, this does not matter much. But, it is a problem if you are planning to use it everywhere, including in the office or home. Battery life is good and we managed to get around 60 hours of playtime on a single charge.

Also, the fast charging feature, the Pure Pods also gets charged up pretty fast. What we think The Noise Pure Pods, priced at Rs 3,499, offer a unique open-ear design suitable for workouts. The ear-hook design ensures a secure fit, and the Pure Band enhances comfort.

Audio quality is decent, with clear vocals, though lacking in bass. Spatial awareness is a standout feature, but sound leakage may be a concern in quiet environments. The 80-hour playtime and fast charging add to their appeal.

Overall, a solid choice for outdoor activities. Explore Your Financial Landscape with Personalized Credit Insights.
