The awaited Pixoul Gaming, the state-of-the-art virtual reality (VR) and Esports hub, is launching on 28th October at Al Qana, Abu Dhabi’s most exciting waterfront destination.
Pixoul Gaming is set to become an interactive destination for gamers of all skills whether a gamer is looking to connect with the gaming community, parents are looking to enjoy an interactive VR experience with their children, or a group of friends are looking to unleash their competitive side at the latest tournament, this destination is the ideal integrated entertainment venue for all ages and abilities.

Virtual Reality Gaming – Pixoul Planet
As the flagship experience, the Pixoul Planet VR houses 10 different virtual and augmented reality games, including everything from shooters, and virtual roller coasters, to guided spaceship tours of the new intergalactic planet, Pixoul. Available in both story and arcade mode, the multi-sensory game is built on preserving the future city, Pixoul Planet, which is under attack and calls for help from visitors.
The story starts with the catastrophic news of corruption, plague, war, and diseases spreading across Earth, where four scientists gather their efforts into creating a new technology that could power intergalactic travel and set a path into what would be called Pixoul Planet.
Fast forward through time, the mission launches the four founders and a thousand hand-picked people representing humanity’s variety and condensed knowledge. Upon a rough landing, they distribute manpower and resources and use the newfound Pixoul Technology to power the construction of the new planet.
After years of construction, they build Legacy City, a sustainable green city that suffices the population’s needs but at the cost of the health of the founders. After entering Cryo Chambers to sleep for a year and re-generate their strength, when they are woken by ERIC, their Emotionally Recuperating Indestructible Companion, as he guides them on their mission to defeat the enemies and reclaim their freedom.
Esports Academy
The Academy will have special classrooms where local and international coaches can train individuals and teams. In addition, for the first time in the region, Pixoul will invite international gaming champions to give lucky users one-on-one training and teach them their winning secrets.
With safe learning and responsibility in mind, The Dean of the Academy will oversee the teaching schedule and certifications and ensure that consumers are empowered with the tools and knowledge to play responsibly. Additionally, taking a 360 approach, the Academy will provide students with the equipment, assistance, and understanding of the gaming ecosystem, increasing job opportunities and allowing youth to achieve excellence through the medium of esports.
The Esports Academy is where the pro-gamers can step into an area of fast-paced action. Pixoul Gaming will be home to the region’s first-ever Esports Academy, enabling future gaming champions. PIXOUL PLANET’s STORY
Players will embark on an interplanetary voyage in the VR zone as one of the founding members of the Pixoul planet, where humanity had to leave Earth and start over in the far future, with the help of their trusty robot companion ERIC and a new mysterious energy called Pixoul, which converts the human soul into energy that powers machines for unbelievable durations and gives them a personality!
Due to the overuse of Pixoul energy and the greed of the Elite group, Pixoul planet has been corrupted, and its population has been enslaved in a haze of technological advancement and comfort.
This is where players embark on their mission to bring the soul back to Pixoul through 10 custom-made wireless VR games on 10 bespoke haptic simulators, in an over an hour-long experience, in the following order:
- Game 1: CRYO-GENESIS – An introductory cinematic experience that takes the player through the construction of Pixoul planet and sets the tone for the entire experience.
Machine: state-of-the-art features like hand tracking technology, vibrating floors, heat emitters, smell emitters, and air blowers.
Players: 1 Player mode only
- Game 2: The Lift – Upon waking up from their cryo-sleep, the founders discover that they have slept for 100 years instead of one! Since then, Pixoul Planet has changed significantly.
The team must escape the tower they’re in by using The Lift, where they must defeat waves of enemies, mechanical spiders, and giant robots!
Machine: massive high vibration floor and air blowers & Physical Recoil Pistols.
Players: 1 to 4 Players
- Game 3: Operation B – Upon reaching the top of the tower, the founders are provided with flying shuttles that take them across Legacy City and Hexa City as they defend themselves against an enemy fleet.
Machine: Dynamic chair/Flight simulator, air blowers, and Duel Physical recoiling Rifles
Players: 1 to 2 Players
- Game 4: Parshift – You are hit directly by a rocket at the end of Operation B, which forces you to parachute out.
To land on an Elite air defense system, you will follow the GPS rings provided by ERIC.
The second part of the game involves taking down the Elite’s communication tower with a giant cannon; at the end of the game, you fall into a trap and get arrested by the Elites.

- Game 5: HexaLooper – Upon waking up, you find yourself tied up in a Pod-looking transportation device; the Elite has captured you!
On this ride, you get a marvelous showcase of the beauty of Hexa and Legacy city, and the Elites get their chance to tell you their side of the story, why did they delay your sleep, why did they turn the world into what it is now, and to prove their point, they would use you! The founders of the new world, as entertainment that the entire population will pay to witness!

- Game 6: Planked – Suddenly, you wake up in a room filled with drones, cameras, and flashes! Head Elite announces you have been captured, and the first game will commence shortly!
The elevator takes you up to a plank, where you’re given a gun and shield to fend for yourself.
Machine: a 1:1 Replica of the game’s Plank, with vibrating floor and air blowers & Physical recoiling Pistol and Shield

- Game 7: Mach 6 Racer– After Planked, you move on to Mach 6 Racer, a Car Racing game with hostile drivers, lasers, and exhilarating tracks.
Before the race starts, the Elite lets you choose your car and its color. After winning the race, you are plotted to be killed by the Elite in the next round.
Machine: Car Racing Simulator
Players: 1 to 4 players
- Game 8: SoloSol – Motor cycle racing simulator where the Elites intend to blow you up mid-race, but ERIC helps you break out of the race as soon as the race starts. As you enter an underground tunnel, enemies chase you, and you shoot and avoid traps, eventually reaching a safe spot where you gather with the other founders in preparation to head over the back to Legacy City to face the final member of the Elites.

- Game 9: Battle Rush – On your 4-wheeled vehicle, you and the founders zoom through the city and rough terrain, avoiding obstacles, shooting enemies and drones, and avoiding obstacles. ERIC has instructed you to reach Legacy City’s Temple at the end of the battle rush. He sends you there because he senses a lot of Pixoul energy in that building, where the Head Elite is most likely hiding.

- Game 10: Pixel Recon– in a 4-player wireless free roaming game, you fight the last and most potent Elite in an intense boss battle with an emotional twist to end the story.

Players: 1 to 4 players
