Now there are new versions of the Odyssey OLED G9 and OLED G8 models.

Samsung will show the monitors off at the CES 2024 trade show in Las Vegas next week. Three new Odyssey OLED monitors will be the first gaming screens to feature OLED Glare-Free Technology that minimizes daylight and ambient light reflections so you can use it at any time of day. All three monitors have AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to eliminate choppiness, screenlag and image tears in fast-action and complex game scenes.

The three models will be available in 2024. The OLED G9 and OLED G8 both feature a 0. 03ms response time and a 240Hz refresh rate for swift responses and smooth transitions during quick gameplay.

Both will have the Samsung Smart TV platform, giving you access to popular video streaming apps. Additionally, Samsung Gaming Hub gives you instant access to your favorite games, no console required. The monitors can be used as a home IoT hub to control various IoT devices.

For example, you can adjust the lights before starting a gaming session. During remote work or multitasking, Multi Control allows users to seamlessly transfer images and/or text between their Samsung monitor and other Samsung devices — including their Galaxy Book, tablet or phone — for a smoother, more efficient work process using their mouse and keyboard. The height of the monitor can be adjusted for comfort and its swivel, tilt and pivot can match gamers’ eye level.
