Share to Facebook Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Destiny 2 Bungie There’s a lot going on in Destiny 2’s Season of Plunder , where you farm Ketchcrash to get materials for maps, then spend maps in Expeditions, then do weekly Pirate Lord hunts and chats in the Eliksni Quarter. But the more time has gone on this season in Destiny 2, the more I’ve realized that probably the most “productive” activity to farm is something very specific, given the sheer amount of stuff it gives you relatively to overall completion time. Provided your team isn’t a total disaster, that is.

I’m talking about Master Ketchcrash, the more difficult version of breezy, normal Ketchcrash that has way, way more rewards for roughly similar effort. The bad news is that as a 1600 activity, it is not matchmade. But LFG groups for it fill up instantly, and I’d recommend maybe being about 1585+ power to feel “comfortable” running it.

You can do it with less, and it’d be easier at 1590+, but it’s not required. Destiny 2 Bungie Why Master Ketchcrash? Because you get: Three full chests of Plunder gear, which can include red frame weapon patterns. Not sure if the number of chests is tied to champion kills, but I’ve always gotten three.

One of those chests is very likely to give you high stat, 61+ armor, which you can focus into a stat to a degree using your ghost mod. Have gotten some 67s already. Namely, I would not farm Master Ketchcrash for the boss we had last week, the mines guy. In the boss phase, if a single mine goes off, it will wipe everyone and send you to orbit. With a bunch of randoms, this is too much of a risk and I failed too much because of this.

Rather, this week, with the Shank protected by little servitors, is probably the “easiest” week, given the final boss encounter. I would recommend the following loadout: Destiny 2 Bungie Kinetic/Stasis Anti-barrier Sniper – For killing those Servitors that will pop up frequently. Riskrunner – This is like, Riskrunner: the activity.

So, so much constant arc damage you will always be protected and supercharged, even if it’s not anti-champion this season. Overload Machine Gun – This is for the teleporting captains. I’m using Corrective Measure which is void, and can pop all the void servitor shields in the final segment.

I’m farming this on my Loreley Titan, which even after nerfs, is still a bastion of survivability, which is the name of the game in these overcrowded encounters. Swear to god if everyone just shows up with a Riskrunner, these runs will be absolute cake, and everyone will reap the rewards. See you out there.
