New Delhi : In the year 2024, ISRO plans to launch a total of 16 missions. Six of these are flights of ISRO’s workhorse rocket, the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), three flights by the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV), and one flight of ISRO’s most powerful rocket, the Launch Vehicle Mark 3 (LVM3). Meanwhile in an accident reported from Uttar Pradesh, 8 people were charred to death after their vehicle caught fire.

They said that there will be two orbital missions to evaluate the performance of the Gaganyaan crew capsule, using the Test Vehicle (TV) developed specifically for that purpose.

There will also be multiple suborbital flights to evaluate the performance of the Gaganyaan hardware for off-nominal flights, to ensure that the abort mechanism works as expected to ensure the safety of the crew. China: 6 killed, 3 injured after workshop collapses in Guizhou province A workshop built from steel sheets collapsed in southern China, killing 6 people and injuring 3 others, authorities said.
