The woman was hit by the vehicle at Westbourne street on Victoria Road in Drummoyne, in Sydney’s inner west just before 8am on Tuesday morning. Paramedics were called to the scene after reports the car had left the road.

Emergency crews arrived at a bus stop on Westbourne Street on Victoria Road after a woman was hit by a car, with paramedics and emergency crews treating the woman at the scene after she sustained injuries from the accident A spokesman from NSW Ambulance confirmed that a woman in her 20’s has been treated for head, neck and lower limb injuries. NSW police told Daily Mail Australia emergency crews are investigating. ‘Emergency services are at the scene of a crash involving a bus and car on Westbourne Street near the intersection with Victoria Road at Drummoyne,’ a spokesperson said.

‘The crash about 7. 50am (Tuesday 15 August 2023), when the two citybound vehicles collided; the car then hit a bus shelter where a woman was waiting’. Traffic has piled up on Victoria road all the way back to the Gladesville Bridge in Sydney’s inner-west on after a car smashed into a woman at a bus stop nearby Police said a woman who was driving the car was also injured which she sustained to her arm.

Two others have also been injured following the accident. A woman in her 40’s has been treated for injuries to her neck while another person is also believed to be have been injured and is being treated for injuries. Two lanes on the five lane road have been closed with traffic piled up all the way back to Gladesville Bridge.

Buses will not stop at Victoria Road after Wolseley Street with major delays across the bus network in the inner-west and the inner city.
