This is a hassle-free option for those who cannot go to the local office.

Apart from this, RBI is also offering TLR (Triple Lock Receptacle) form to the people to deposit Rs 2,000 notes in their bank account. On May 19, RBI announced the withdrawal of Rs 2,000 bank notes from circulation. More than 97 percent of the Rs 2,000 bank notes in circulation have been returned as of May 19, 2023.

Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das said that a separate line has been arranged for senior citizens and disabled people in the locker office in Delhi.
