Georgia slipped past Auburn on the road last Saturday, and the Bulldogs (35) still hold the No. 1 spot with the most votes from the sports reporters around the country who cover college football. But No.

2 Michigan (12) and No. 3 Texas (10) picked up more first place votes this week, and No. 4 Ohio State (1) and No.

5 Florida State (4) are still challengers for the top spot. Four Top 25 matchups includes the Southeastern conference battle in Athens between SEC rivals Georgia and Kentucky. The Red River Rivalry showdown between Texas and Oklahoma is the final meeting between the rivals as members of the Big 12.
