The Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels DLC was finally unveiled during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase with a July 19th release date. Now, Playground Games has detailed what we can expect from the expansions, including new cars, 200km of track, and biomes. As detailed over on Forza.
net , Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels will introduce players to the “visually stunning, exhilarating new Horizon Hot Wheels Park in the clouds high above Mexico. ” Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels launches on July 19th According to Playground, the Horizon Hot Wheels Park features more than 200km of iconic orange track that will take you on a journey through a “gorgeous Hot Wheels open world. ” We will explore four new biomes that Playground says are “packed with spectacular detail and diversity.
” There is “Giant’s Canyon, where you’ll hear the growl of your engine bouncing back off intricately detailed rock formations; the Ice Cauldron, where frozen tundra drips into the glistening molten lava; in Forest Falls, you’ll see the tree canopy towering over epic waterfalls; and finally, the visually stunning and exhilarating Horizon Nexus, where the Horizon Festival is suspended among a web of Hot Wheels tracks. ” The DLC will also feature gravity-defying magnet tracks, as well as ice, water flume, and rumble tracks. Also coming is the Hot Wheels Academy, a new campaign where we’ll start off in a Class B Hot Wheels Baja Bone Shaker and progress through different car classes by completing special events an activities until we reach the X Class.
There is also a new five-part Horizon Story, new accolades, Bonus Boards, Floating Pinata collectables, PR Stunts, and new Hot Wheels Seasonal Events, which count towards your Festival Playlist completion. Interestingly Playground notes that the entire expansion can be played from the very beginning in co-op, which is a first for Forza. You will also be able to design and build your own tracks in the Eventlab with the Hot Wheels Creation Kit that features over 80 track and stunt pieces.
Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels new cars As for new cars, ten will arrive with the new expansion, including four new Hot Wheels vehicles that have been scaled up to life-size.
