The incident happened a few days ago in the village of Kopyshche near Minsk, Belarus , and CCTV captured the shocking moment. In the video, the boy is standing next to the rear passenger door of a red Hyundai car, but while he is trying to get into the car, his mother drives off, dragging the five-year-old with her.

The boy got knocked to the ground and run over by the car’s rear wheel. Once his mother noticed him lying on the floor, she rushed out of the car, but forgot to put the brakes on. The vehicle eventually came to a stop after hitting the wall of an apartment block, while the woman’s other child was reportedly still sitting in the passenger seat.

According to authorities, four administrative offense reports have been drawn up against the 36-year-old driver, whose name has not been disclosed.
