Things get underway at 1 p. m. ET with the traditional rivalry matchup between the New York Giants and New York Jets.

Metlife Stadium will play host to a head-to-head clash between its two tenants, an exciting game that both teams will be utilizing starters for. This will mark the 53 rd time in the last 54 years that these teams have met during the preseason. The G-Men have the slightest of edges in the all-time series, going 33-32-1 against their in-town rivals if you include the 14 regular season meetings that have also taken place during that span.

This game will be pivotal in determining which quarterback will open the 2022 NFL season as Pittsburgh’s starting quarterback. With Goff set to ride the pine and the Steelers ready to play both Pickett and Trubisky early and have a competent third-stringer in Rudolph for the second half, it’s hardly a surprise that Pittsburgh is heavily favored today.
