Blizzard Entertainment Four days after the launch of Overwatch 2 , Blizzard is still beavering away to resolve the major issues that have been plaguing the game so far. Today’s update is a brief one (it is the weekend after all), but it will hopefully come as some comfort to those who have been experiencing these issues.

I haven’t had a chance to check to see if those are resolved for me on PS5 and Switch today.

I was getting those issues on Thursday and Friday (I still haven’t gotten in on PS5 at all yet). Of note, Blizzard didn’t mention any downtime this time around. So, it seems like the devs are implementing these fixes while the servers are still up and running.

Many others are waiting for their account merge to go through. As a reminder, your stuff is still safe.

You haven’t lost anything if you’re coming over from Overwatch 1 . It’s just taking a while to get through the logjam of account merge requests. “We are aware of lengthy account migration queues and are ramping up capacity to move it faster,” Blizzard said. That’s all for now, but Team 4 says it will keep everyone updated on its progress as it works to resolve the problems. It added that it will provide a more in-depth update on the state of affairs by Monday.
