Apple ecosystem users in Malaysia and Indonesia (along with 19 other countries) will soon have access to Apple’s Fitness+ service, which comes with a slew of features to keep workouts consistently interesting. The service will be available on iOS 16. 1, and will be integrated within the Fitness app, where you can simply access it by tapping on the middle tab inside the app.

Here’s a brief rundown of what to expect from Apple Fitness+: Up until now, Apple Fitness was only available to iOS users with an Apple Watch, but that won’t be the case any more. Starting October 24, 2022, users in 21 countries will be able to access the entire service using just their iPhones, and can make use of over 3,000 studio-style workouts and meditations, all led by a team of diverse and professional trainers. On their devices, users will see onscreen trainer guidance, interval timings, and even estimated calories burned throughout their workouts.

These features can be used on the Fitness+ service throughout devices such as iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, and those using third party devices can also stream their workout sessions to the big screen via the AirPlay function (if the device has it). The Apple Fitness+ service is famous for including workouts featuring celebrities, ranging from sessions backed by popular hits to easier routines featuring narrations by famous A-listers. With the new rollout, Fitness+ will spotlight Taylor Swift, with her music to be made available to users on the app for the first time ever.

A dedicated Artist Spotlight series will feature new songs from her latest album Midnights , and every Monday for three weeks, new workouts featuring Swift’s music will become available across different workout types including core, cycling, dance, HIIT, pilates, rowing, strength, and yoga. In addition to the Taylor Swift spotlight, there will also be a new Time to Walk episode featuring Hannah Waddingham (from Ted Lasso and Game of Thrones fame). Time To Walk is described as an inspiring audio experience designed to help people walk more, and features the voices of some of the world’s most interesting and influential people who will share stories, photos, and music with users.

For those who want to focus directly on their fitness, the service will also include a new workout program designed by Scott Jurek, one of the world’s top ultramarathoners who also happens to be an author and public speaker. This program will focus on Jurek’s approach of integrating yoga into running routines for the sake of improving posture, balance, and mobility. Other incoming focused programs include mindful cooldowns for athletes, a new 14-day HIIT and strength challenge, and “Totally ’80s Cycling” — eight spirited workouts for cardio fitness set to a playlist of hits from the 1980s.

Apple Fitness+ will be available as a subscription service in Malaysia for RM19. 90 per month or RM119. 90 per year, and in Indonesia from RP69,000 per month or RP399,000 per year, and can be shared with up to five family members.

Alternatively, Fitness+ is also available as part of the Apple One Premier plan, which includes access to Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, and iCloud+ storage (2TB). Soon you’ll be able to schedule posts on Instagram Malaysia will soon have a shot at getting its first Michelin star. Here’s how.
