The crash happened near the intersection of Templeton Road and Blyth Road at Everard Central, 120 kilometres north-west of Adelaide around 5.

20pm on Tuesday. Emergency services were called to the scene following the fatal crash after a Honda and a van collided at the intersection. Two women have been killed following a multi-car crash in South Australia on Tuesday A 54-year-old woman and an 86-year-old passenger died at the scene.

The pair were from Snowtown, around 151 kilmetres north of Adelaide . An 84-year-old man who was a back seat passenger of the Honda sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Royal Adelaide Hospital. The two people inside the van, the 28-year-old male driver and his 26-yer-old female passenger were also injured following the collision.

The pair were also airlifted to Royal Adelaide Hospital with the woman having sustained serious injuries. The two-car crash happened at an intersection between Templeton Road and Blyth Road (pictured), in South Australia’s south Templeton Road was closed overnight after authorities including major crash scene investigators remained on the scene to investigate the cause of the crash. The road has since be reopened.

The women who died marks the 95th and the 96th life lost on South Australian roads this year. 59 lives were lost around the same time in 2022.
