You can do this by leveling up the free track of the Battle Pass or slowly earning Overwatch Coins that you can spend in the shop.

Alternatively, you’ll occasionally be able to earn skins, sprays and other cosmetics without even playing the game. This means that you can earn some cosmetics just by watching Twitch streams for a certain length of time — or even running a stream in the background while you’re working or studying.

First, though, you’ll need to connect your Battle. net and Twitch accounts. Here’s how to do that: Sign into your Battle.

net account on the web. Go to your account connections page . Click the connect link for Twitch.

Follow the steps to sign into your Twitch account and connect them. If you don’t already have a Twitch account, you can sign up for one on the Twitch website . Only players in certain regions are eligible for Overwatch 2 Twitch drops. If you don’t live in North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Australia or New Zealand, you likely won’t earn any of the freebies. Sorry about that.

You can earn drops and claim them on the Twitch website on PC or Mac, or through the Twitch app on Android, iOS or iPadOS. You won’t earn the goodies or be able to claim them on the Twitch app on consoles, smart TVs or other streaming devices. Typically, you’ll need to spend a certain period of time watching Twitch channels that are live in the Overwatch 2 category to earn drops.

Usually, this will be between two and six hours. The watch time adds up, though. So, if you watch 45 minutes on one channel, you’ll be able to switch to another streamer without losing any of your progress.

Don’t think you can speed things up by watching more than one channel at the same time though — that won’t work. One other important thing: you’ll need to claim the drops manually to collect them in Overwatch 2. You can do that on the channel you’re watching or by accessing the Drops Inventory on Twitch .

If you don’t connect your Battle. net account and claim a drop reward, it will expire after 14 days and you might miss out on it. So, you know, be sure to connect your accounts! As for the rewards you can earn, there are a few more on offer in Season 1 .

If you watch two cumulative hours of Overwatch 2 Twitch streams between 2PM ET on October 25 and 2PM ET on November 6 , you’ll earn a Werewolf Winston spray. Double that to four hours and you’ll receive a Werewolf Winston (Legendary) skin aswell. Another Twitch Drops campaign will run between 2PM ET on November 15 and 2PM ET on November 30.

Watch two hours of Overwatch 2 Twitch streams during that time and you’ll get the new Reinhardt Mug Souvenir. Watch for another three hours (five in total) to get the Brigitte Kitten Weapon Charm. Remember that you can use any Souvenir or Weapon Charm with any hero.
