SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) – Americans will never forget the terror attacks that took place on September 11, 2001. And most will never forget where they were when they heard about the tragedy.

Terrorism against our nation will not stand. And now, if you’ll join me in a moment of silence. May God bless the victims, their families and America.

Bush The president then asked for God to bless the victims, their families, and America before he left for Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport where Air Force One was waiting. Less than a week later, the president wrote a letter to the elementary school thanking them for inviting him to the school.
