Bengaluru: AI startup CEO Suchana Seth who is accused of killing her 4-year-old son Chnimay is reportedly not cooperating with the police in the probe. According to the police, Suchana is changing her statement frequently which is causing a delay in the investigation. The police have collected several pieces of evidence from the hotel room where she stayed for two days in North Goa.
The police will be taking her for an inquest at the crime scene on Friday. Suchana, who is in Goa Police custody on the charges of killing her son reportedly claimed innocence during the probe. However, the police have found several evidence against her and are aiming to complete the formalities at the earliest.
Goa DGP Jaspal Singh appreciated the efforts of Goa Police in the case and said that the team would confront the accused with evidence. “The investigation is in the initial stage. The investigators have said that the accused is not cooperating in the probe.
We will confront her with evidence found in the case to find the motive for the crime,” the DGP said. Suchana to be taken for inquest After questioning Suchana for three days, the police will be taking her to the hotel room where the alleged murder took place to recreate the crime scene. Meanwhile, the police have reportedly found a handwritten note on a tissue paper with eyeliner on which she is said to have written about her strained relationship with her husband and the scuffle over the custody battle of their son. The exact content of the note is yet to be revealed and it has been sent to a forensic lab for testing. Suchana’s husband Venkataramana is also likely to visit Goa on Saturday to join the probe and record his statement.
