Share to Facebook Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin TCL has taken the wraps off a new range of television sets equipped with the hugely popular Amazon Fire TV smart platform.
The TCL CF630K range is available in 50 and 55-inch size variations across multiple European countries (the UK, Spain, Italy and Germany), and if you buy one between now and November 11 you’ll be able to get it for a special ‘introductory price’. In the UK these discount offers start at £339. 99, with regular pricing after November 11 being set at £379 for the 50 inch and £429 for the 55 inch.
Amazon’s Fire TV smart system combines the Amazon interface and content most people will be familiar with from Amazon Prime Video apps with access to other streaming apps as well as integrated control of the TV’s picture and sound settings. The Amazon connection also sees the CF630K range shipping with Voice Remote With Alexa support, so that you can control them just by talking to them, while TCL’s reputation for delivering better picture quality on even relatively affordable TVs sees the CF630Ks using a Quantum Dot system to create a wider colour gamut than you’d usually expect to find at the CF630K’s price point. The new TCL CF630K TVs use the Amazon Fire TV smart interface.

The Dolby support extends to the CF630K’s audio too, with decoding of Dolby Atmos movie and music mixes supported on both the 50 and 55-inch models. Pretty much inevitably for the CF630K’s price level, though, both the 50 and 55-inch models can only handle 60Hz refresh rates; there’s no support for the 120Hz refresh rates the Xbox Series X, PS5 and top-spec PCs can now deliver. “Our Fire TV built-in portfolio continues to grow worldwide, and we are excited to expand it even further by working with TCL,” says Eric Saarnio, Vice President of Amazon Devices International. “Together with TCL, we are able to deliver an even more diverse line-up of high-quality, innovative smart TVs that combine Fire TV’s best-in-class entertainment experiences with TCL’s expertise in building world-class smart TVs.
” Anyone in the UK interested in the new TCL CF630K Amazon Fire TVs can buy them now from Amazon. co. uk .
