A lot of things go into making your house feel like a better place to spend time in, and this week is a good chance to save money on all of those things. They’re so good that Joe Ray declared himself a “blender person” after using the 5200. Whether you’re making smoothies, soups, or sauces, the Vitamix blends evenly and efficiently without straining or overheating. Vitamix blenders don’t go on sale often, so this is a rare chance to snag one for less.
What goes hand-in-hand with a Vitamix? A KitchenAid Stand Mixer. If you think I’m kidding, check any wedding registry within the last decade. This coveted kitchen gadget is the perfect combination of form and function, with its sleek, timeless design and masterful mixing.
No need to wait and put this on your wishlist — they rarely go on this good of a sale. After multiple years of the pandemic, I’m pretty sure we’re all tired of cooking and cleaning up afterward. Instead of whipping out pots and pans and whatever else it takes to make your favorite meal, toss your ingredients into a slow cooker and let it do the work for you.
Not only will you have dinner on the table in time, you’ll also only have to clean the dishwasher-safe, removable stoneware. And if you’re looking to carry your leftovers on the go, the Crockpot Electric Lunch Box for $30 ($15 off) can hold them and reheat them when you’re ready. Zojirushi Micom Rice Cooker You may not think a rice cooker is necessary if you already have a slow cooker, pressure cooker, or even just a pot with a lid.
However, Zojirushi is known for making rice so well you won’t wanna go back. This variant is similar to one of our favorite Zojirushi models , except it doesn’t have a setting for quinoa. Still, we think this is a good deal if that’s not a dealbreaker for you.
We haven’t tested this model, but we’re fond of the De’Longhi Stilosa Espresso Machine . The La Specialista is a more suped-up machine, with a built-in grinder, stainless steel build, and overall larger size. It’s got great reviews across the web, too.
Come one, come all coffee lovers! Our favorite cold brew maker is already a steal regularly, and now you can get the Primula Burke at 30 percent off. For the cost of about two cold brews, this makes 32 ounces, is simple to set up, and brews a smooth cup of joe without much bitterness or sediment. Breville Barista Express I don’t know about you, but I love not having to deal with too many gadgets right when I get up in the morning.
The Barista Express features a hot water dispenser, a burr grinder, and a pressure gauge so you can exactify your brew even better. This is our favorite all-in-one espresso machine , and it’s $50 off this Prime Day. Sometimes you just can’t beat a little elbow grease when it comes to getting your coffee grind just right.
Or at least senior reviewer Scott Gilbertson thinks so. He searched high and low for the best manual grinder, and the Hario balanced speed, design, and grind almost perfectly. Nothing is worse than going to make your morning coffee, only to discover that you’re out of beans.
With a subscription , you can ensure you’re getting quality coffee on a regular basis. Atlas Coffee Club offers some of the best variety when it comes to single-origin beans. It’s important to note that you’re getting new beans every time, so you may not always be fond of the flavor, but we think the good outweighs the bad.
You can read more about this deal here . I’ve been terrified of undercooking meat ever since I had to watch a video on salmonella in elementary school health class. In order to avoid any accidents in that regard, meat thermometers are a real life saver.
The Thermapen One reads accurately and quickly, comes in a myriad of colors, and is compact enough to fit in your kitchen tools drawer. Stasher Silicone Reusable Storage Bag Reducing waste can feel herculean at times, but you can help protect the environment in many small ways too. Stasher Silicone Reusable Storage Bags are a great replacement for your typical plastic bag, whether you’re packing a lunch, meal prepping for the week, or just saving leftovers for later.
If seven bags are too many, you can get four for $38 ($14 off) or a single bag for $15 ($6 off) . Made of plant-based material, the OmieBox OmieGo Set is a sustainable replacement to your typical tupperware. Not only are they durable and cute, but each container also snaps into place on top of each other, so you don’t have to worry about stashing pieces in your cabinets only for them to fall all over the place later.
Staub was one of the few brands my sister-in-law asked for this holiday season. And there’s a reason so many people add Staub to their wishlists and wedding registries—they’re a sturdy, stylish addition to any kitchen without the Le Creuset price tag. If dark blue isn’t your color, there’s also a set on sale in cherry for $63 ($27 off) .
Sony A90J 4K TV Calling a TV “pretty” isn’t the usual technical lingo we’d go for, but damn … the Sony A90J is pretty. From the processing speed to the OLED panel, this TV really does have it all. Though this may not seem like much of a discount, this is the lowest drop we’ve seen for the A90J.
We’re not sure when we’ll see prices like this again, so now’s a good time to jump if you’ve been eyeing it. If Apple has roped you in the way they’ve roped me in, an Apple TV 4K is a great option. Though they’re more expensive than other streaming devices , they really are the cat’s meow with their simple, sleek user interface and easy integration with other Apple products.
Just beware: this doesn’t come with an HDMI cable. Alexa hive, rise. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is a great streaming option for Alexa-enabled households.
You have the option for Wi-Fi 6, picture-in-picture capabilities for security camera streaming, and 2 gigabytes of memory. Again, for the less souped-up version, you can get the Fire TV Stick Lite for $12 ($18 off) . Roku Ultra Although we haven’t tested the 2022 version yet, we’re big fans of the Roku Ultra .
You’ll get 4K streaming, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ all in one. The Wi-Fi is also allegedly better than the already incredibly fast connection we loved before. If you’re not looking for anything too advanced like that, you can also get the Roku Streaming Stick 4K (2021) for $30 ($20 off) for a guest bedroom or kitchen TV.
A lot of people expect smart-enabled televisions nowadays, but did you know you can get a smart soundbar, too? The Roku Streambar Pro has all the functionality of a typical Roku, plus it enhances the sound on your TV. This is actually a pretty brilliant two-in-one situation given that TVs tend to have terrible speakers . The Pro is better for bigger rooms, but if you’re looking to spruce up the sound in your bedroom, the Roku Streambar for $90 ($40 off) is a good deal, too.
It’s the worst kept secret: showers tend to turn into personal karaoke power hours, whether you like to sing a broadway ballad or the Boss . The Ampere Shower Power can take your solo to the next level, bringing your backup track from the countertop to the actual shower. It literally runs on the water that runs through it, and it’s easy enough to set up, so you’ll bust into your next tune in no time.
Echo Dot with Clock (4th Gen) Reviews editor Parker Hall loves Echo Dots more than he loves most smart speakers. The sound fills up a room exceptionally well, and if you’re looking to boost it even more, the Echo has a 3. 5-mm output for connecting to larger speaker systems.
For your little ones, you can also get the Echo Dot Kids Edition for $25 ($35 off) . The Echo Show 8 is kind of like the Goldilocks of Echo Shows. It’s eight inches, right in between the 5th and 10th generations.
And it even has the same pixel density as larger versions so you don’t have to compromise on picture quality. If you’re low on space, you can always opt for the Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen, 2021 release) for $35 ($50 off) instead. Alternatively, if you want a bigger display and have the wall space to support it, the Echo Show 15 is on sale for $180 ($70 off) .
Senior reviews editor Adrienne So has tested the Glow. Both her parents and elementary-school-aged kids loved it, but it’s a little big and awkward to use. Still, it’s a great way to connect your child to distant loved ones without having to watch TV together.
Amazon Eero 6 Mesh Wi-Fi System Mesh networks help make sure all of your internet-enabled gadgets, well…mesh together. That means that it extends the Wi-Fi from your router around your house better. The Eero 6 was the easiest to set up in our tests, and at $40 off it’s a great deal, too.
There aren’t a lot of options to support Wi-Fi 6E, so the TP-Link Deco is a special mesh network system. We got incredibly fast speeds and overall consistent connection in our tests, and they were easy enough to set up, too. The cylindrical design doesn’t look too clunky either, so it can blend into your decor nicely.
Biggie said mo money, mo problems , and that couldn’t be more true when it comes to large houses and Wi-Fi. You’ve got the house of your dreams, but now you’re dreaming about how you can get internet in the upstairs. The Netgear Orbi Mesh Wi-Fi system is a solid choice for sizeable homes, extending the signal range well and offering overall speed and stability.
Problem? Solved. Ecobee SmartThermostat The thermostat was a touchy subject in my house … or rather, a no-touchy subject. Whenever the weather changed, there was always the back-and-forth of what it should be set at and who should adjust it.
Now you don’t have to worry about that with a smart thermostat system that automatically learns to adjust to the weather and your preferences. (On top of that, you can use voice-control, so it’s like nobody really touched it at all, wink wink). Sometimes, you may need a little more to quiet your mind at night.
The Morphée combines features from your typical white noise machine (like purring cat sounds and other ambient noise) with meditation options, too. You have eight different options that all last either eight or 20 minutes, depending on what you need. If your little one needs a little extra help falling asleep as well, the My Little Morphée is also on sale for $80 ($20 off) .

EufyCam 2 Pro Looking to up your home security without all the subscription fuss? A second, downward-facing camera monitors your porch and packages, in addition to your visitors. We also like the option of local storage. When we tested the Kasa Spot for our guide to the best indoor security cameras , we loved how functional the tilt feature is.
Pair that with the panning ability and two-factor authentication, and you’ve got the Kasa Smart 2K Security Camera, making it an even better option than the Spot. Nest Hub Max In this house, we love Google Assistant! Really though, it’s the WIRED team’s favorite voice assistant, so the Nest Hub Max is your best bet if you’re looking to add a smart display to your home. It’s got a sizable 10-inch screen which is great for video chatting or pulling up a how-to on Youtube, plus the speakers are actually good for a smart display.
If you’re not in need of a camera, the Nest Hub (2nd Gen) Smart Display is on sale for $55 ($45 off) . Another solution to the Household Thermostat Problem: the Nest Learning Thermostat . Like the aforementioned ecobee, this system adjusts based on the weather and whether you’re home or not.

Nest cameras have great picture quality and user interface on top of their sleek, attractive design. Usually they’re too expensive for us to recommend, but at 20% off, it’s a solid deal. Nest Doorbell The Nest Doorbell is our runner-up pick to the Arlo, solely because it costs more.
It’s easy to set up, the battery lasts for about a month, and it identifies faces and packages pretty accurately. However, it does require the Google Home app and a subscription to Nest Aware for $6 a month. Amazon families have security options to fold into their ecosystems, too.
The Blink Mini is compact enough to fit just about anywhere, making it more versatile than some other more cumbersome cameras. It also has two-way audio, motion detection, and Alexa integration. Another option in the pet camera family, the Petcube Bites 2 can help you keep an eye on your fur babies.
This has a square design and a mounting kit, so you customize your vantage point by jigsawing it amongst your other home gadgets, or sticking it on the wall. And of course, you can send your pet a little treat, if you so please! Nixplay 10 inch Digital Frame The Nixplay is our runner-up pick for digital frames. It connects to Google and Alexa, has a customizable screen, and lets you cycle through photos with a remote.
Now you can show your mom all your latest vacation photos without having to upload them for all of Facebook to see. The other night my cousin got a notification: “Your dog is barking. ” We opened the Furbo app to see his beagle Bucky was, uh … introducing himself to his new neighbors.
It was really cute, but the best part was that we could see nothing was wrong with him or the apartment, and could even send him a little treat. If you want that for your furry friend, this discount is a good one. We’re in the process of updating the pet camera guide , but we’ve previously liked the Furbo .
With the Philips Hue Smart Bulbs , you’re upgrading to the crème de la crème of smart bulbs. It typically comes at a high price tag, but at almost half off it’s the perfect time to level up your lighting. You can find more Prime Day robot vacuum deals here . iRobot Roomba i7+ It goes without saying that every house would likely benefit from someone else cleaning it—less stress, less resentment, less time. While I can’t offer you an actual cleaning service this Prime Day, I can offer what may be the next best thing: a robot vacuum.
Dust and dander gather constantly, making cleaning the floors seem Sisyphean. The iRobot Roomba i7+ not only vacuums for you, adeptly navigating through your home, but it empties its own bin, too. The Roborock Q5+ is, as Tina Turner would put it, simply the best.
It vacuums well, empties its own bin, and lets you customize your cleaning routines in a handy app for your phone. What more could you want? We haven’t tested this model, but we like the AI+ version of Samsung’s Jet Bot ( also on sale ). Like that one, this is enormous–5 inches high, tall enough to get stuck under a sofa, and the tower is a whopping 21 inches high.
But, these are also quiet, fast, and powerful. This deal gets you most of what we like about the AI+, save the AI features. Eufy Robovac X8 Tired of the fur and dander and all the other dirtiness that come with having a furry friend? Those are no match for the Eufy Robovac, our favorite robot vacuum for pets , and luckily it’s on a pretty extraordinary sale.
At almost half-off, you can get this top-notch vac and spend less time cleaning so you can spend more time playing tug-of-war with your pup. This is a pretty good deal for an auto-emptying robot vacuum. The smart navigation features maps your home and you can use Google or Alexa voice assistants to direct it where you want it.
The 692 offers much of the same time-tested iRobot technology as more expensive models, but at a much lower price, making it a great choice if you’re just starting out with robot vacs. We especially like iRobots “Dirt Detect” feature. When the robot’s sensors detects a particularly dirty area, it goes over it several times to make sure that it’s thoroughly clean.
Hoover Smartwash The Hoover SmartWash features automatic cleaning and drying cycles, making sure you don’t leave cleaner and water behind to attract more dust and dirt. This cleaner also acts as a spot cleaner with the detachable top, so you don’t have to go through the whole shebang for a smaller spill. For a more compact carpet cleaning option, the Hoover PowerDash Pet Compact Carpet Cleaner is $90 ($10 off) The S7 is far too expensive to not buy on sale, so if you’ve been considering it, now’s your chance.
It maps your home with sonic waves, automatically lifts the mop when carpet is detected, and uses multi-directional brushes to better pick up debris. We wish it had a self-emptying bin, but we can make exceptions for this deal. You know the drill — it’s the Black+Decker Powerconnect Cordless Drill, to be exact.
It’s a great kit for all things home improvement, whether you’re hanging your favorite poster or doing a detailed DIY. And you won’t have to get tangled up in the process because it’s got a rechargeable battery that even works interchangeably with other Black+Decker tools. BlueAir Blue 411 I’ve had the BlueAir Blue 411 for about three years and it’s been a lifesaver.
Whether it’s allergy season, my dogs are shedding like crazy, or I sprayed too much hairspray, this little guy works and works hard. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in how I sleep at night because I can actually breathe without sounding like Brainy from Hey Arnold . Other BlueAir purifiers are on sale as well, including the BlueAir Blue 311 for $168 ($83 off) and the BlueAir Blue 211+ Auto HEPASilent 23dB Air Purifier for $238 ($102 off) .

Nod by Tuft & Needle Though we haven’t tested this specific mattress, we’re fans of Tuft & Needle . The Mint Mattress is great for pressure relief, with its medium-firmness. This hybrid seems to be more along the lines of the Casper, with the foam and coal combo.
Regardless, if you don’t mesh with the mattress, you have a 100-night trial to return it. Solo Stove Yukon Nothing taught me to love the great outdoors like a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic. Seriously, I wanted to get outside at every chance I could, and when it was far too chilly I dreamt of something like the Solo Stove Yukon to gather round.
This is a perfect setup for hosting friends, roasting smores, and enjoying your backyard (almost) year-round. These deals may or may not come back in stock, so if you see something you like, check it out. You might get lucky.
Fellow Ode Most of the time, a conical grinder will be your best bet. However, a flat burr grinder has a special place in the coffee kingdom — it makes for good pour-over and drip coffee. The Fellow Ode has a consistent, coarse grind quickly, and it’s easier to keep clean.
The chic design and sturdy build don’t hurt, either. We are such stuff as dreams are made on, or so someone much smarter than I once said. If true, it’s important we actually get into a deep, restful sleep so we can actually drift off into a dream.
We love the Hatch Rest for kids, so we think the Hatch Restore would be great for an adult looking to add a white noise machine to their bedtime routine. I’m a gal with complicated needs who likes to live her life in the least complicated way possible, especially when it comes to coffee. The less steps, the better first thing in the morning.
The Mr. Coffee One-Touch takes that concept and runs with it, allowing you to make a cappuccino, or a latte with the press of a button after you grind your beans. If you’re in need of something a little more affordable, though, the Mr.
Coffee Cafe Barista Espresso and Cappuccino Machine is on sale for $150 ($50 off) . Let’s face it—it’s really hard to actually eat all the perishable groceries we get. A nice solution to that is a vacuum sealer.

When you do want all of Meta to see you, there’s the Portal. WIRED senior associate reviews editor Adrienne So loves the Portal. Yes, it’s made by Meta, but it’s kind of a great device anyway and it’s been discontinued so if you want one this is probably your last chance.
All smart bulbs aren’t created equal, and the Cync Smart Light Bulbs are the best of them. It’s not that we expected them to be bad during testing, but we definitely didn’t expect them to be as easy to set up as they were. The app allows you to cycle through various colors, set schedules, and pair with Google or Alexa.
The Cync Outdoor Smart Plug is our favorite outdoor plug, and with good reason. You can control them through the app, making those nights when you forget to shut off the string lights much easier. We haven’t tested the Cync Indoor Smart Plug , but we imagine it’s just as good and it’s only $10 ($5 off).
Though this camera technically lives indoors, the Panasonic HomeHawk is meant to watch the outdoors. It sticks to the inside of your window and records a clear picture at a 150-degree angle. You’ll need to get a microSD card to store your footage, but those are cheap and easy to come by.
