Anand Mahindra Says Rohit Shetty Will Need A Nuclear Bomb To Blow Up The Scorpio-N

Anyone who is familiar with the films of director Rohit Shetty, like the Singham series, Dilwale or Chennai Express, will know his love for blowing up cars for action sequences. In fact, a great deal of those cars have been Mahindra SUVs, namely the Bolero and the Scorpio . So much so, that the internet is filled with memes related to Rohit Shetty and Mahindra vehicles.

So, when Mahindra dropped the images of the new-generation Scorpio-N, more such posts were inevitable. One such meme post recently caught the eye of Mahindra Group’s Chairman, Anand Mahindra, and his reply to it was even funnier. The meme insinuates that Rohit Shetty will now be very excited by the news and would love to blow it up in his next movie. Quote tweeting that user’s post, Anand Mahindra said – “Rohit Shetty ji, is gaadi ko udaane ke liye aap ko ek nuclear bomb ki aavashyakata hogi. .

A few years ago, after the XUV300 scored a 5-star safety rating from the Global New Car Assessment Programme (Global NCAP), the company had said that going forward all its new models will receive either 4 or 5 stars in Global NCAP crash tests. Since then, Mahindra has launched two new models – the new Thar, and the XUV700, and sure enough, both have scored a 4- and 5-star safety rating in Global NCAP crash tests, respectively.

And so, the new-gen Scorpio has to live up to this expectation. We do not know yet, whether, GNCAP will crash test the car, but when it does, we’ll surely be the first to tell you about it.
